The CAPLAB is looking for a full-time PhD student. This PhD student is expected to work on a 4-year research project funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). This project seeks to explore and better characterize modulatory effects of selective attention on early vision, with a focus on the retinotopic C1 ERP component. S/he is expected to carry out empirical work in psychophysiology and experimental psychology. Expertise with EEG, MEG, psychophysics or psychophysiology broadly speaking is desired, but not required. Salary is according to standard Belgian regulations for PhD students (starting at around €2000 per month net salary). Candidates should have a Master’s degree in a relevant domain such as Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Cognitive Neuroscience.
